Sopore: An unidentified male body was on Saturday found in river Jhelum near Jamia bridge of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to the news agency KNO, some locals spotted the body floating over water at Jamia bridge in Sopore and immediately informed police about it.
A police team reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem, police said, adding a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations initiated in this regard.
