Dooru: A five-year-old boy was killed in a road accident at Chenigund area of Dooru in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday afternoon.

Official sources told the news agency (KNO) that a minor boy identified as Mohammad Imran Badhana, son of Mohammad Ishaq Badhana of Katli Kathua died after he was hit by a speedy motorcycle at Chenigund village.

“The boy was crossing the road outside his makeshift home when a speedy motorcycle (JK03K-8697) hit him,” they said.

A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been taken up, they said.
