Using computer accounting information, preparing an account of the transaction or filing a return online- all these tasks are done easily with the help of specific software which is a need for nearly all dealing with such activities that involve computing in any sense.  After the implementation of GST, every organization, big or small, needs such software and online tools.  Chartered accountancy is still an attractive resource for most 12th graders in the commerce stream.  This sector is considered respectable in India and abroad.  These days, apart from CA, the demand for ICW, Computer Accountancy specialists is on the rise.  So if you know how to work on computer and have knowledge of new skills like Tally ERP, Advanced Excel, Balance Sheet, Income Tax, Account Finalization, Quick Book then career in the field of finance can be made.  Given the expansion of e-commerce, GST and the growing trend of self-employment, there are good job opportunities in the sector in the future.

For young people who are interested in accounting, CA is definitely a great resource.  The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducts the course.  A student who passes the institute exam can get a good job as a qualified chartered accountant in this field.  To become a CA, you need to pass three exams.  It starts with the Common Proficiency Test, followed by the final year at the IPCC.  A strong grip on accounting is essential for CA preparation.  After graduation, you can start working as a CA in an accounting firm or company.  After a few years of experience, you can practice independently as a CA.

Like the CA, to become a company secretary, one has to pass three types of exams, namely, Foundation (eight months), Executive and Professional programs.  This CS course is conducted by the same institute, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.  You can apply for the Company Secretary course after 12th in Science, Commerce and Arts.  Graduate students are exempt from the eight-month foundation course.  They get admission directly in the second phase.  After completing the executive and professional courses, it is necessary to undergo 16 months of training with a company or an experienced secretary.  After professional training, you become an Associate Member of ICSI.

Accountant or GST Specialist

After completing the Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance course, there are many job opportunities in the field of Accounts and Finance.  Initially work can be done as trainee accounts.  Students can also pursue careers in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing and Tax Accounting.  After the degree in accounting, diploma or certificate course in GST can be done.

Auditing

The role of auditors has multiplied as the business of private companies has grown.  Every business needs auditors to conduct a final check on its balance sheet and financial transactions.  Auditors perform both internal and public audits.  Auditors are recruited by the Personnel Selection Commission (SSC) for auditing government departments.  Students who are interested in accounting can pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (Banking and Insurance) course after 12th.

Finance Officer

After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Markets, one can get a job as a Finance Officer, Finance Controller, Finance Planner, Risk Management, Money Market Dealer, Insurance Manager.  Provides information on finance, investments, stock markets, mutual funds.

Computer accounting needs every company

The demand for computer accountancy is increasing day by day in view of the changing times.  This is a course that even the average educated youth can do.  So commerce is not necessary.  All you need to know is computer and accounting software.  The present and the future is very bright for the youngsters who are doing this course, as nowadays all the malls, showrooms, BPOs, KPOs and Factories as well as small and big offices like Bank Office Accountant, Accounts Executive, Accounts Assistant, Finance Executive  Positions are needed all the time.  There are also many online courses in accounting and finance available today, where short-term courses can be taken.

Management Accountant

This course can be done after BA.  Any student can enroll directly in this course of Cost and Workers Accounting but now the Indian Coast Workers Association has opened the way for 12th pass students to enroll in the foundation course.  It is certified by the Institute of Cost Accountants.  Provides services such as budgeting, cost management, performer evaluation and asset management for companies completing this course.  In addition, they assist in the formulation of professional financial planning and strategy.
