Army clarifies on recruitment rally at Sonarwani Bandipora

Army recruitment rally for Sepoy Pharma to be held at Sunjwan Military Station, Jammu

Srinagar: The Army on Tuesday issued a clarification regarding news reports of Army recruitment rally at Sonarwani Bandipora (J&K) from 21 Aug, 2021 to 30 Aug, 2021.

“It is clarified that no recruitment rally has been planned under the aegis of Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar covering the districts of Bandipora, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Srinagar, Budgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag and Kulgam at Sonarwani, Bandipora (J&K) or anywhere in the Kashmir valley from 21 August 2021 to 30 August 2021,” said a defence spokesperson.

“The message being circulated on WhatsApp/social media is unfounded and fake. It is requested that no cognizance be taken of this fake message,” he said.
