NC appoints functionaries in JKNC Parent body

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Dr Farooq Abdullah, on Sunday appointed a number of functionaries in party’s parent body.

According to the NC spokesperson, those who have been appointed include: Mohammad Saleem Akhoon as JKNC Vice President, Central Zone Kashmir; Jehangir Yaqoob Wani, as Vice President JKNC North Zone; Irfan Gulzar as District Vice President Anantnag; Dr Abdul Hameed Rather as District Vice President Bandipura; Advocate Muneer Ahmed as JKNC District Vice President Baramulla, Ishtiyaq Ahmed Ganaie as District Vice President Kulgam; Muhammad Ashraf Lone as District Vice President JKNC Badgam; Aijaz Ahmed Mir as Jt. Secretary JKNC District Shopian.

“The new appointees have been rendering their services towards the party on various key positions in YNC,” the spokesperson said.

“Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, YNC Provincial President Salman Ali Sagar have passed on good wishes to the functionaries on their new assignments and elevation to Party’s Parent body,” he said.
