Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah condole demise of party leader Dr Shafi

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar, Dr Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President, Omar Abdullah, on Saturday extended warm felicitations to the students, who qualified 12th class Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), whose results were declared yesterday.

In his message Dr. Farooq Said, “Conquering exams is just the beginning. I pray that the student fraternity of our state conquers many more summits in their life. I congratulate the students on their achievement.”

Party Vice President while congratulating all the successful students said he appreciated the consistent efforts of the teaching and non-teaching staff, students and parents that have made it possible. “I congratulate the successful candidates. I hope that they will keep up with the hard work,” he said.

The duo also felicitated Tanvir Ahmed Khan of south Kashmir’s District Kulgam on bringing laurels back home by qualifying in prestigious Indian Economic services examination, IES and acquiring second rank at all India level. His success, the duo said, will inspire many other aspiring students who want to qualify such exams as requiring incomparable dedication and hard work.

Meanwhile, state secretary Sakina Itoo, GA Shah, Party’s Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, and District President Abdul Majeed Larmi have also congratulated Tanvir Ahmed for his success, the functionaries passed on good wishes to him for all his future endeavours.
