Srinagar, Jul 28: Months after resigning from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the former MLC Yasir Reshi from Sumbal constituency Wednesday joined Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference.
JKPC on its official Twitter handle announced that former legislator Yasir Reshi joined the party in presence of chairman Sajad Gani Lone and senior leader Mansoor Soharvardi today.
“On the occasion Yasir Reshi said that he genuinely believes that JKPC is the only party which can take Kashmiris out of the current impasse,” the Tweet added.
In March this year, Reshi had resigned from the basic membership of PDP.
According to him, he has been distancing himself from PDP since June 2017.
