JNV Class VI selection test to be held on Aug 11 at Anantnag

Anantnag: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla, Wednesday chaired a meeting of officers to review the arrangements for forth-coming Class VI Selection Test for admissions in Jawahar Navodaya Vidalaya Aishmuqam, here.

The meeting was informed that the entrance test will be held on 11th of August 2021 at 10 examination centres in the district.  More than eight hundred (800) candidates from the district have registered/applied for the said examinations, said the officials.

On the occasion, the officers were sensitised about various relevant issues and they also placed their suggestions before the chair.

At the outset, the DC termed the Test as “prestigious one” and passed directions for placing adequate arrangements for proper accommodation inside examination halls in observance to Covid Protocols, safe custody, collection and distribution of examination material, security at Nodal and examination centres and their proper sanitisation/fumigation etc for its smooth and successful conduct.

Exhorting that no applicant should miss the examination on account of not being informed in time, Dr. Singla called for creating massive awareness and publicity about the date and schedule of these tests so that message reaches every candidate in advance.

The DC assured full cooperation from District Administration for holding free and fair entrance tests besides ensuring ease and comfort to the students.

Among others, the meeting was attended by ADC, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, Principal JNV, Nisar Ahmad, Dy.SP Hq., and ZEOs.

Meanwhile, the District Administration and School Authorities have appealed to the applicants to appear in these exams and grab the valuable chance of getting admission to the institute.
