Srinagar: Director Tourism Kashmir, Dr. G N Itoo, held a detailed interactive session with tour operators from Canada today through webinar and presented to them a host of tourism products available in Jammu & Kashmir.

The webinar conference was organized by the Consulate General of India in Toronto Canada, in which tour travel operators of Canada participated.

During the interactive session, the Director Tourism Kashmir made a detailed presentation detailing the services, products, places and types of tourism available to incoming tourists.

The tour operators exhibited keen interest in the tourism products and enquired about related issues like Covid protocols, seasons to visit, itenery etc.

The programme was a part of the campaign launched by the Union Ministry of Tourism to boost the arrival of foreign tourists once international tourism opens. It was also part of the campaign to promote lesser-known destinations and put them on the tourism map of the world.

During the interactive session, presentations were also made by Odisha and Tripura states to showcase their tourism-related activities.
