Dialogue, only way forward: Sajad Lone

New Delhi: Peoples Conference chairman Sajad Lone, after attending the all party meeting with the Prime Minister, said that he was optimistic that there will be some delivery for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking to different media groups, Lone said that the meeting was held in a very cordial manner.

“We came out quite positive that hopefully there will be some delivery for the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

Appreciating the initiative taken by PMO, Sajad Lone said that dialogue is the only way forward and it was responsibility of all the stakeholders to maintain the sanctity of the institution of dialogue.

“We have to do business with the Union Government as it is the only institution that can resolve our issues,” he said.

Senior Peoples Conference (PC) leader, Muzaffar Hussain Beigh said that majority of the leaders demanded restoration of Statehood, protection of land and jobs in J&K.
