SSP Shopian holds Darbar at DPL

Srinagar: SSP Shopian, Amrit Pal Singh, today held a Darbar with jawans of District Police Shopian at District Police Lines Shopian.

The aim of the Darbar was to prepare jawans and officers physically & mentally in wake of spreading the Covid-19 pandemic.

Senior Police officers of the district were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the Darbar, SSP Shopian appreciated the role of Shopian Police in tackling the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic. He stressed upon them to follow Covid-19 SOPs issued by the Government and asked them to be both physically and mentally prepared in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, besides counter any challenge and deal with any type of eventuality professionally.

SSP Shopian also advised the jawans and officers to focus on their duties, so that the nefarious designs of anti-social elements could be well checked in before.  He stressed upon them to gain public confidence, goodwill and always be compassionate and helpful to the needy people. He advised them to attend to the genuine grievances of the people.  He also exhorted upon officers and jawans to keep doing good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing duties.

The interactive proceedings concluded with best wishes for all jawans and officers of District Police Shopian.
