Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has extended greetings to the people on the eve of International Day of Yoga-2021.
In his message, the LG said that practicing Yoga daily has immense benefits on mind, body and soul. “It keeps us fit, energetic and stress-free. The ancient health science of Yoga is being practiced since millennia and is our proud cultural heritage,” he said.
The LG observed that Yoga improves emotional and spiritual wellness and appealed to everyone to keep practicing Yoga for their holistic well being, spreading the message of “Be with Yoga, Be at Home”.
Speaking on the significance of this year’s Yoga day theme – “Yoga for Well-being”– the LG said that Yoga has brought a massive change in health sector and all stakeholders should endeavour to increase its reach by maximizing the participation in Yoga related activities.
