Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday reported 585 fresh COVID-19 infections and 14 deaths, officials said.

Among the fresh cases, they said 462 were reported from Kashmir and 123 were from Jammu, taking the cumulative infection count to 3,11,794.

Regarding the 14 fresh deaths, the officials said that seven each were reported from Kashmir and Jammu divisions, taking the overall fatality toll to 4,252.

Providing the district-wide details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 136 cases, Baramulla 38, Budgam 69, Pulwama 22, Kupwara 30, Anantnag 35, Bandipora 29, Ganderbal 47, Kulgam 51, Shopian 5, Jammu 21, Udhampur 9, Rajouri 8, Doda 25, Kathua 6, Samba 0, Kishtwar 13, Poonch 21, Ramban 11 and Reasi 9.

Officials also said that 1354 more COVID-19 patients have recovered during last 24 hours — 923 from Kashmir and 431 from Jammu division.

Cumulatively so far as many as 2,98,911 people have recovered so far, while at present there are 8631 active positive cases across J&K —5,589 in the Valley and 3,042 in Jammu division, they said.
