Srinagar: Police have arrested twelve persons and recovered 11 packets of heroin, arms and ammunition besides cash in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, officials said on Saturday.

A police official told GNS that a narco-militant module was busted by arresting 12 persons from whom 10 grenades, 4 pistols along with as many magazines and 20 rounds were recovered.

This is apart from 11 packets of heroin, and cash worth Rs 21.5 lakhs besides cheque amounting to Rs one lakh seized from them, the official said.
