Kulgam: A 22-year-old youth allegedly attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in an orchard in Damhal Hanjipora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday afternoon.
An official said that the youth (name withheld), tried to end his life after consuming some poisonous substance at his orchard in Avail area of D H Pora.
He said that the youth was immediately rushed to D H Kulgam for treatment.
