Srinagar: Hospital authorities at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura have constituted a team to ascertain facts regarding a ‘minor’ fire incident that took place at the tertiary health care institute earlier this evening.
A senior medical official told GNS that “in the aftermath of a minor fire incident due to short circuit in Ward Number 3P – Hemodialysis – store-room, the authorities concerned have launched an immediate inquiry to ascertain the facts.”
The official in concurrence with the earlier report by this news agency said that no damage was caused in the incident. “All the services were restored immediately and everybody including the staff and patients are safe,” the official added. (GNS)
