Srinagar: An Engineer from Jammu Mohit Bhat has thanked the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, for mentioning his name in the monthly Radio Talk show ‘Awaam ki Awaaz’ and acknowledging his suggestions regarding the containment of ongoing pandemic COVID-19.

Last week, Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha dedicated monthly Radio talk show to corona warriors who are at the forefront in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and acknowledged them for their suggestions and work in the ongoing crisis while putting themselves at risk.

During the programme, the LG, Sinha, shared some of the inspiring stories of responsible citizens and appreciated them for their spirit and dedication towards human service during these tough times.

Mohit said that it was an amazing feeling that Lieutenant Governor mentioned my name in radio talk show and acknowledged my suggestions related to COVID-19. “I am very thankful to LG that he acknowledged my suggestions on COVID and shared them with general public,” Bhat said.

He adds that if general public has any suggestions related to covid-19 they can use different platforms for sharing the same with Lieutenant Governor as he is easily accessible.

Mohit remarks that as a society it is our prime responsibility that we should maintain Covid appropriate behavior, follow SOPs and guidelines as they are primary tools of fighting this disease. “As a society, our role is that we should adhere to lockdown guidelines, follow proper SOPs and support our administration in tackling this virus,” Bhat said.

Mohit further appeals the general public that as vaccination has been started by the administration, we all should get vaccinated on our turns and do not believe in rumours, we will definitely win this battle against COVID in days to come.
