Srinagar: A 35-year-old man from Kund belt of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district was found hanging in a rented accommodation in Upper Bazar area of Qazigund on Saturday.
An official told Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man identified as Shabir Ahmad Naikoo(35) son of Sonaullah Naikoo, a resident of Waripora Kund was found hanging at Upper Bazar Qazigund.
He said that the man was working in post office on contract basis.
He added that the man was residing in a rent accommodation at Qazigund in the house of Ghulam Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Salam Mir, a resident of Chaimullah since November 25 last year.
Meanwhile, a police officer said that it is premature to say whether it is suicide or murder, however, investigation in this regard has been taken up. (KNO)
