People can also visit our website www.doctorsassociationkashmir.com and facebook page “facebook.com/DAKashmir” to seek advice related to Covid-19.

DAK President and influenza expert Dr Nisar ul Hassan said communicators on these helpline numbers are expert doctors and will address public concerns on Covid-19 from today.

“People can seek advice on symptoms, prevention, treatment, testing and vaccination,” he said.

The DAK President said effective communication to public in an outbreak is vital to prevent the spread of the disease and is an intervention in its own right.

“Public during an outbreak is entitled to credible and consistent information to build trust which is critical for hastening containment of the outbreak,” he said.

“DAK helpline numbers will address public anxiety and panic created by Covid deaths,” he added
