Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, on Monday maintained that people’s participation is essential to strengthening the fight against COVID-19.

In a video message, shared on the official Twitter handle of Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha said: “My humble appeal to citizens is to stringently adhere to corona curfew guidelines and follow all Covid protocols to stay healthy and safe.”

“Those who have contracted COVID-19 and those who are experiencing the symptoms of the disease, both, will be provided doctor-prescribed medicines for ten days in the form of Covid kit,” Sinha said.

He further said that the government was trying its best to provide the said medicines for free to every individual who is suffering from COVID-19. “We are well aware of the fact that Ramzan and other religious festivals are being celebrated but the inevitable lockdown measures have been introduced for the safety and wellbeing of the people,” Sinha added.
