Baramulla: A biker and his pillion mate were killed when a speedy tipper hit their bike in Sheeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Witnesses said that a biker identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan, son of Abdul Majeed Khan, and his pillion Khalid Yousuf Sheikh of Zehanpora, were grievously wounded when they were hit by a speedy tipper at Sheeri.
They were immediately rushed to Sheeri hospital where doctors declared Imtiyaz as brought dead and Khalid was referred to GMC Barmaulla, where he also succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile, SHO Sheeri confirmed the accident and said a case has been registered in this regard and investigations initiated.
