KPDCA offers its services to fight Covid; says will assist in Covid testing; vaccination

Srinagar: Kashmir Private Diagnostic Centers Association has submitted a proposal to Divisional Administration Kashmir, offering voluntary services including in Covid testing and vaccination.

President, Private Diagnostic Centers Association (KPDCA) Umer Iqbal Dhar said that being part of the society they feel it is their responsibility to contribute in the current Covid-19 situation in the Valley which is very challenging.

“We have submitted our proposal that all the labs and staff associated with the Association will help the administration in Covid-19 testing and vaccination if government provides us with testing kits and vaccines,” Dhar said.

“Since the COVID-19 pandemic is posing a challenge to us all, we the private diagnostic service centres in  Kashmir want to assist voluntarily the administration in this hour,” reads a letter of KPDCA to the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir.

“We urge you to utilize our services in testing and vaccination of the people in the valley. We urge the government to provide us testing kits and vaccination and we will offer free human resources and other utilities for this process. It will reduce rush on health centres and hospitals and will reduce the workload on healthcare workers of the government.”

“Our proposal has been forwarded to the concerned department for exploring the possibility,” Dhar said. (KNO)
