Srinagar: The intensity of Covid-19 in J&K witnessed a steep surge during the month of April with 289 persons dying of infection even as 45123 positive cases were also recorded during this period.
As per the available official data, 45,123 positive cases and 289 deaths were reported in Jammu and Kashmir in month of April.
Out of 45,123 positive cases, 28,540 cases are from Kashmir division while as 16,583 are from Jammu division while as among the 289 deaths, 136 were reported from Kashmir and 153 from Jammu region, the data reveals.
