“I along with my team have been on the road since morning to ensure that Section 144 which was imposed with an aim to slow down the spread of Corona-virus in Srinagar city is implemented on the ground,” SSP Srinagar said.

He also said the biggest challenge for the administration is to slow down the spread of infections which cannot be achieved without due support of people.

SSP Srinagar also said that he would hold a meeting with shopkeepers, transporters and hoteliers and insist on continuing their efforts in breaking the chain in the same manner.

Chaudhary also said that he was shocked to see people travelling carelessly in public transport and said a separate meeting would be held with transporters to find an amicable solution to the issue.

“Our biggest challenge is to prevent this deadly virus from spreading, it’s possible only when every section of the society collectively works in this direction and chips in to break the chain,” SSP Srinagar added.
