Srinagar: Inspector General of Police Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, once again appealed to the parents of newly recruited militants to persuade their kids to come back into the mainstream before they are trapped in an encounter.
In a Tweet on the official Police handle of Kashmir Zone Police, IGP was quoted as saying, “Parents should make a continuous appeal to newly recruited militants to return.”
“Appeals should be made regularly. Parents shouldn’t confine themselves to the last appeal when their children are trapped in an encounter,” reads the Tweet. (GNS)
