Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2021: DIG CKR tours Baltal base camp

Srinagar: DIG CKR, Amit Kumar, today conducted exclusive tour to Baltal base camp in view of forthcoming SANJY-2021.

During his visit, a detailed security review of all locations enroute including Transit camps, Base camps at Baltal and Domail, besides other strategic locations and camping sites along the Yatra route was taken. He also reviewed traffic management for smooth passage of Yatra convoys and availability of parking places.

The visiting officer was accompanied by SSP Ganderbal Suhail Munawar, Commandant 118Bn CRPF, ASP Ganderbal, SDPO Kangan, DySP Hqrs and DySP Traffic Ganderbal.

SSP Ganderbal Suhail Munawar Mir, briefed in detail about security arrangements being undertaken for upcoming Yatra and highlighted various issues of concern. DIG CKR directed officers to maintain high alert, ensure proper access control and checking/frisking of all vehicles.
