JKPCC expressed grief over the loss of precious lives and said such mindless and shameful acts are not acceptable, deserve strong condemnation from every section of society.

JKPCC conveyed deepest condolences to the family of the slain councilor and Special Police Officer and prayed for eternal peace to departed souls and recovery of the injured.

JKPCC has urged the Govt to take immediate effective measures to contain such inhuman and cowardice incidents.

In a statement issued here, Apni Party Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir said such violent incidents add to the miseries and sufferings of people and cannot be condoned by any civilized society in the world.

“This inhuman attack on elected representatives of the people can fetch nothing except for bringing more chaos and agony to the people,” he said while urging the government to take serious cognizance of this incident and take all precautionary measures for the security of activists irrespective of their political affiliation.

Apni party provincial president also expressed deep shock over the killing of the policeman who laid down his life in the line of duty. Mir said the killings of innocent people are in no way in the interest of peace and prosperity in J&K.

“This unfortunate incident has taken place when the whole world is going to observe Shab-e-Baraat. Kashmir has already witnessed enough of death and destruction in the last three decades. Now, this mindless violence should end somewhere so that people can heave a sigh of relief,” he remarked.

He prayed for eternal peace to the deceased and courage for their families to bear this huge and irrevocable loss. “Apni Party is in solidarity with the families of the victims of this mindless violent incident and prays to Almighty Allah to give them the courage to face this difficult time,” Mir added.
