“For many years, we used to perform a play mostly at Tagore Hall Srinagar on the World Theatre Day but this time due to the ongoing pandemic we had to follow the SOPs so we decided to organize a short theatrical presentation,” said G M Mahir, Convener Mehboob Cultural Society Baramulla.

Speaking on the occasion, president AMK Amin Bhat appreciated the theatre groups for their participation and said: “Theatre has the potential to make us understand different perspectives and creative dimensions of the issues that we face at personal, regional or global levels.”
