Baseer Khan inaugurates India Travel Mart exhibition at Jammu

JAMMU: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan today inaugurated the three-day India Travel Mart Exhibition for the promotion and showcasing of domestic tourism here.

The three-day exhibition will showcase a variety of destinations for pilgrimage, adventure, culture and heritage tourism etc.

Gujarat Tourism, Tamil Nadu Tourism and India Tourism, besides J&K Tourism, hotel and resort operators are taking part in this year’s ITM event from March 19 to March 21, 2021.

Speaking on the occasion, Advisor Khan suggested a separate brochure for J&K Tourism at India Tourism stall in order to showcase the tourist destinations of the region.

He said that such exhibitions would help to showcase tourism potential of regional places and other tourism destinations all over the country and added the event will boost tourist footfall in Jammu as well.

On the occasion, Advisor Baseer Khan inspected the stalls and was briefed about the exhibition with respect to bringing people associated with tourism, together, to promote inbound, outbound and domestic tourism.

ITM offers unlimited opportunities for everyone to explore the market and publicize their destination or product or organization at one place.

On the occasion, J&K Tourism Department presented a promotional video showcasing tourism destinations of Jammu and Kashmir.

Additional Secretary Tourism J&K, Director Tourism Jammu, Managing Director ITM, and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
