CII Delegation calls on Principal Secretary to PDD Rohit Kansal

Jammu: A delegation led by Chairman CII J&K Council, Ravnish Gulati, and Managing Director Gulati Oil Mills Pvt Ltd. called upon Rohit Kansal Principal Secretary to PDD, Government of J&K.

The delegation apprised him about the issues being faced by Industrial Members.

“The issues discussed included seeking tenders for Power related items on variable rates instead of fixed rates for goods like transformers, conductors, cables etc. The delegation also took up the issue of Pending Payments of MSME Units with PDD and also requested a policy on solar energy using net metering as in other states. The delegation also requested for enhancement of power load from 1 MW to 2.5 MW on 11000 KV lines as prevalent in neighbouring states to promote the industry in J&K,” said a spokesperson of CII.

“Rohit Kansal gave a patient hearing to all the issues and assured speedy and timely action on the issues highlighted by CII members. The CII delegation also included Abhinandan Singh Sachdev, Promoter SAS Industries Pvt Ltd.,” the spokesperson added.
