Srinagar: A man injured in a car accident on Srinagar-Bandipora road past weekend succumbed at a hospital in Srinagar late Thursday night, his family said today.
Irshad Ahamad Sofi, a middle-aged man, was injured when the car he was driving skidded off the road and rolled downhill at Churthung mode near SK Payeen village of this north Kashmir district on Sunday.
Sofi had received severe head injuries and was pulled out from the mangled car by the locals.
He was immediately moved to the District hospital wherefrom doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura, where he passed away Thursday night.
