JKRETF organizes conference on ‘Role of Teacher in Present Educational Scenario’

Baramulla: Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teacher’s Forum (JKRETF) organized a daylong conference on “Role of Teacher in Present Educational Scenario” in which people from cross section of society, teachers and educationists participated.

Chairman JKRETTF, Farooq Ahmad Tantray, was the chief guest while as District President JKRETF Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat was guest of honour while as retired educationists and academicians were also present during the conference.

Speaking on this occasion, Farooq Ahmad Tantray urged upon authorities to cancel all holidays except Sundays so that loss of education due COVID-19 pandemic can be compensated. “I request Lt. Governor and Secretary Education to cancel all holidays except Sundays so that massive loss of education due to pandemic can be compensated.”

District President Baramulla, Mohmmad Yaqoob Bhat, sought intervention of various social institutions and organizations to build a better educational scenario.

Zonal President Wagoora, Mohammad Sadiq, said that the aim of the conference was to create awareness and exchange ideas regarding role of teacher in present educational scenario.

Special Sectary JKRETF Rahi Irshad, Headmaster GHS Wagoora, Ex ZEO and Chairman Central Auqaf Wagoora Noor u Din Shah, President Citizens Forum Wagoora Naseer Ahmad Rather, Ex ZEO Gh Ahmad Sheikh, Master Mohammed Ibrahim Kambay, District Vice President JKRETF Amreak Singh, District Secretary Reyaz Ahmad Ganai and various Zonal Presidents and teachers were present on the occasion.
