Dr Shakti Kumar Gupta appointed as Ex. Director AIIMS Jammu

Srinagar: Dr Shakti Kumar Gupta, medical superintendent Dr RP Centre of Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS New Delhi has been appointed as executive director in All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Vijaypur area of Samba district in Jammu region.

As per the order, a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Dr Shakti Kumar Gupta as executive director in AIIMS Jammu.

The order states that the appointment has been made in level 15 of the pay matrix and admissible NP on a short term contract basis for a period of 3 years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post.

“The contract may further be extended up to 5 years or till the incumbent attains the age of 70 years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest,” the order states.
