Srinagar: Police in its recent action against drug dealings in Bandipora have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
According to an official communiqué, officers from Police Station Hajin at a checkpoint near Bonikhan Mohalla Hajin intercepted a person, Manzoor Ahmad Parray S/O Abdul Aziz Parray of Bonikhan Mohalla Hajin and during checking recover 650 grams of Charas from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to Police Station where he remains in custody.
A case, vide FIR No.07/2021, under relevant sections of law has been registered against the person, the communiqué said.
