Srinagar: Jammu-Srinagar National highway will remain closed for traffic on Friday for maintenance, ADGP Traffic T. Namgyal said. “The traffic will remain suspended on Srinagar Jammu highway for maintenance, and no vehicular movement will be allowed for tomorrow (Friday),” he said adding that the work on the bridge was going on at full pace.
Traffic Police Headquarters J&K, in a press release, also confirmed that the highway shall remain closed for traffic in view of maintenance, repairing of the road. The Mughal road continues to remain closed due to snow accumulation.
