Wife of senior journalist, Sajad Hussain, passes away

Baramulla: Wife of senior journalist, Sajad Hussain who is associated with Network 18, died of asphyxiation on Monday.

She was laid to rest at her native village Vijbal.

Members of North Kashmir Journalist Association and Baramulla Working Journalist Association (BWJA) participated in the funeral prayers and expressed condolence and solidarity with their senior colleague besides extended sympathies with the bereaved family.

Various journalists, social, political and religious organisations also expressed their condolences and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.

Senior NC leader Mohmmad Shafi Uri, North Kashmir President National Conference Dr. Sajad Shafi also extended their condolence and sympathies on the demise of Sajad’s wife.

Meanwhile, Chairman Human Aid Society Kashmir Bashir Ahmad Mir has also expressed his condolences and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest her soul in peace and grant strength to the family, especially Sajad Hussain to bear the loss. Kashmir Images and SNS Kashmir expressed their heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

Chairman EJAC, Mohmmad Rafiq Rather, expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum Srinagar Abdul Qayoom Wani expressed grief and sorrow over sad demise of wife of Sajade Hussain.

Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum District President Baramulla Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat expressed deep shock and condolences with the bereaved family.
