‘Fake orders’: Govt directs strict action against unscrupulous elements, CB probe

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government has underlined need for “immediate strict action” against unscrupulous elements regarding fake orders which include “some recruitment” related ones.

“Some cases of fake orders being circulated in media has been noticed recently which calls for immediate strict action against unscrupulous elements. Similarly some instances of fake recruitment orders have also been noticed,” the order  in a circular, a copy of which lies with GNS.

“It is hereby enjoined upon all HoDs of the Finance Department to ensure due verification and vigilance in the matter and strict action for any lapses that may have occurred in past,” it said, adding, “In all such cases the matter may be referred to the Crime Branch without fail besides informing the Administrative Department of the action taken.”
