Baramulla: An awareness programme related to the COVID-19 vaccination was held today on 02-01-2021 at Dangiwacha Rafiabad.
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr. G.N. Itoo was the Chief Guest on the occasion, whereas Tehsildar Watergam Kifayat Ahmad presided over the chair.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla stressed on COVID -19 related SOP’s. He assured that the preparation regarding the vaccination has been completed.
Mufti Mumtaz and Imaam Jamia Masjid Dangiwacha spoke about the precautions of pandemic in light of Islamic perspective.
Chairman Gurdawara Prabandak Committee enlightened the participants about the sayings of Gurunanak Dev Ji.
Newly elected DDC member Rafiabad requested the people to follow the pandemic guidelines.
Chairman Human Aid Society Kashmir Bashir Ahmad Mir and Khursheed Ahmad of JK Yateem Foundation highlighted the role of NGO’s during the pandemic. “NGO’s will always support and co-operate with the administration,” they assured.
