Srinagar: PDP leader Arif Laigroo has expressed deep concern over power shortage in Srinagar and other areas of Kashmir and demanded immediate end to it.
In a statement, he alleged that the electricity supply schedule was not being properly followed and urged the administration to deal with the electricity “crisis” on a priority basis.
“There are complaints from the city as well from rural areas about the erratic power,” he said adding, “The people, especially students, are appalled at the state of electricity supply”.
“The administration is in slumber while as the current situation demands action. The power crisis should be dealt with on a priority basis to ensure that people don’t suffer during the winter months,” he said.
