Atal Dullo assesses healthcare facilities, inspects dev projects in B’la

BARAMULLA: Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education, Atal Dullo accompanied by Director Health Services Kashmir and other senior officers today visited Baramulla district to assess healthcare facilities being provided to the patients in various health institutes there besides inspecting several development projects being executed in the area.

Atal Dullo inspected COVID-19 care centre at Tarzoo, Sopore and had a detailed review of healthcare services being extended to the patients there. He interacted with the concerned authorities who briefed him about the status of various healthcare services being provided to the patients in the present circumstances arisen due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Meanwhile, Financial Commissioner also inspected Sub District Hospital Sopore and reviewed status of healthcare services there. He also took appraisal of several development projects undertaken by the concerned executing agencies there wherein he emphasized to ramp up the pace of work so that they are completed in time.

Atal Dullo also inspected GMC Baramulla and convened a meeting to review functioning of the college.

During the meeting, Financial Commissioner directed the concerned authorities to provide qualitative and efficient healthcare services to the patients especially in the wake of current winter season. He exhorted upon them to ensure that all basic necessities are provided to the patients in a hassle free manner. He directed the concerned executing agencies to accelerate the pace of development works being done there for timely completion.

Principal GMC, CMO, MS Associated Hospital, officers of health department among other concerned functionaries attended the meeting.
