Srinagar: After allegations of misappropriation of funds, the Crime Branch Kashmir has conducted physical verification of the construction works done under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Observer (KNO), CB Kashmir said, “Consequent upon the reception of a written complaint regarding misappropriation of Government funds meant for Swach Bharat Abhiyan, a team of Crime Branch Kashmir conducted Joint Surprise Check of works done under Swachh Bharat Mission in Kandi Block Nathnusa, District Kupwara in the presence of BDO and Sarpanchs of the area.”
