Kupwara: Father of Parliament member, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, passed away after brief Illness this morning.  Several people and groups including social, political and religious organizations expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for late Haji Mohammad Sabir Mir.

Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Leader Ghulam Nabi Pandithpori on Monday expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Father of MP Fayaz Mir who died this morning after brief illness.

In his condolence message Pandithpori has prayed for the departed soul and expressed sympathy with Mir’s Family. He said the deceased was noble, a great social activist and termed his death a great loss to area.

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples conference Chairman and PAGD spokesman Sajad Gani Lone expressed grief and sorrow over the demise describing him as a noted social activist, and prayed highest place in Jannah to deceased persons and expressed sympathy with family of Haji Mohammed Sabir Mir

Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Haji Mohammad Sabir Mir, father of Fayaz Ahmad Mir.

In a condolence message, Bukhari prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to his family to face this difficult time. He described the deceased as a noble and pious soul, who lived a very simple life.
