Director JKEDI interacts with aspiring entrepreneurs at Bari Brahmana Campus

JAMMU : Director, Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), G M Dar today interacted with aspiring entrepreneurs (ITI Passouts)on the concluding day of 3 Week Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) here at the Bari-Brahmana Campus of the Institute.

The aspiring entrepreneurs completed the Entrepreneurship Development Program in manufacturing and services sectors.

While interacting with the candidates, the Director said that there are various high potential activities in agriculture, horticulture, food processing, IT-enabled services and other sectors which the youth of J&K need to tap. He assured the aspiring entrepreneurs that the Institute will handhold every candidate and will ensure smooth processing of the projects chosen.The Director also motivated and encouraged the candidates to dream big for realizing and achieving bigger results.

The Programme was coordinated by JKEDI faculty members, Mr. Abilash Kumar Braroo, Mr. Yogesh Joshi and Ms. Priya Sharma. During theprogramme, candidates were imparted with various entrepreneurial and management related skills which would help them to create their own enterprise. They were also made aware about the role of J&K Bank, DIC, PCB and other allied departments by the subject matter experts.

Associate Senior Faculty, Dr. M. M. Khan and Incharge Trainings (Jammu), Mr. Vishal Ray also shared their pearls of wisdom with the budding entrepreneurs.The candidates also shared their experience regarding ongoing EDP.
