DDC chairs DLRC meet at Kulgam

KULGAM: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today chaired District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting to review the first half year performance of banks and other line departments, ended September 30, 2020 of Financial Year 2020-21, under Annual Credit Plan.

During the meeting, Lead District Manager, G.R.Mir informed the chair that under the District Annual Credit Plan for 2020-21, Rs.1464.40 Crores have been disbursed by banks.

While reviewing sector wise achievement, the DDC impressed upon the Banks to improve credit dispensations in Agriculture and allied sectors, MSME, housing and education sectors.

He also directed to organize awareness camps to sensitize people about various schemes so that they can get benefitted from these schemes.  Banks were directed for speedy disposal of cases and concerned were impressed to cover all eligible persons under PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY like national security schemes.

Later, a Potential Linked Plan for 2021-22 was approved and launched by the forum.

The Meeting was attended by, ADC, JD-Planning, LDM, DDM NABARD, and officers from line department besides Cluster Head JK Bank, District Coordinators of banks and other concerned.
