Srinagar: Two soldiers were injured in an accidental fire in Kandi Khass area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
Quoting official sources, news agency GNS reported that the rifle of a soldier went off, resulting in injuries to two fellow soldiers identified as Lakhwinder Singh and Mahinder Singh.
The injured soldiers, who belonged to the Army’s 47 Rashtriya Rifles, were shifted to military hospital at Drugmulla wherefrom they were referred to 92 base hospital in Srinagar, they added.
