SRINAGAR, November 25: Senior Congress leader and former minister Ghulam Hassan Khan alongwith his associates besides scores of political activists from different parts of Kashmir Valley on Wednesday joined Apni Party at its office in Srinagar, a party spokesman said.

The new entrants were welcomed by Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and other senior leaders.

Besides Ghulam Hassan Khan and his associates several other political activists also joined Apni Party, the spokesman said.

Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Hassan Khan said that he was delighted to join the Apni Party as according to him this was the only political platform available to the people of Jammu and Kashmir that believes in truthful politics.

While welcoming Khan and other prominent political activists into the party fold, Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that the genesis of his party revolves round the public service.
