Training imparted to polling staffs at Bandipora, Pulwama

Bandipora/Pulwama: For the upcoming District Development Council (DDC) and Panchayat by-election, the District Administration Bandipora on Monday continued its special training programme for the polling staff.

On the occasion, the District Level Master Trainers imparted training to the polling staff including Presiding Officers, P1, P2 and P3 in two sessions under the overall supervision of Nodal Officer Trainings, Mohammad Rafiq Parray.

During the training, the master trainers acquainted the polling staff with the rules and regulations of the election process and implementation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).

The Polling Officers were briefed about their duties and functions especially to ensure free, fair and smooth conduct of by-election (Panchayat) in the district.

The training session was attended by Polling Officers, other polling staff besides concerned officers and officials of the district.

Meanwhile the District Administration Pulwama on Monday continued its special training program for the polling staff. On the occasion, the Master trainers imparted training to the polling staff in two sessions under the overall supervision of Block Development Officer, Pulwama also Nodal Officer Trainings

The Nodal Officer Trainings also briefed the polling staff about their role and responsibilities and asked them to ensure that all instructions regarding poll day are implemented in letter and spirit.

The training was imparted to the concerned at four locations including Town Hall Pulwama, Meeting Hall DC Office Complex, EDI Pampore and at Town Hall Awantipora.
