Shopian: Old ward block of District Hospital Shopian was damaged in a fire incident on Sunday.
An official said that the fire broke out at around 3 am in the old ward block of the hospital.
The firefighters soon rushed to the spot and doused the flames, he said.
An official said that the health officials on duty sprung into action and evacuated the patients from the ward.
