Baramulla: Mother of senior video journalist Yaqoob Lala of Baramulla passed away after a brief illness at JVC Srinagar on Tuesday.
North Kashmir Journalist Association and Baramulla Working Journalist Association (BWJA) have expressed condolence and solidarity with Yaqoob and extended sympathies with the bereaved family.
Various journalists, social, political and religious organizations have expressed their condolences and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Chairman Human Aid Society Kashmir Bashir Ahmad Mir and Bureau Chief Kashmir Images Reyaz Rashid have also expressed their condolences and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest her soul in peace and grant strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
