With 460 fresh cases, J&K Covid-19 tally reaches 102619

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported 460 fresh positive cases of Covid-19 on Sunday taking the tally of infected people to 102619, officials said here today.

Today’s cases include 271 from Kashmir and 189 from Jammu division while as 09 Covid related deaths were reported – five from Kashmir and four from Jammu, officials said.

Officials said that out of 102619 positive cases, 5688 are active positive, 95342 have recovered and 1589 have died; 535 in Jammu division and 1054 in Kashmir division.

Providing district-wise breakup, the officials said that Srinagar has 21426 positive cases (including 120 cases reported today) with 1561 Active Positive, 19469 recovered (including 125 cases recovered today), 396 deaths; Baramulla has 6910 positive cases (including 51 cases reported today) with 672 Active Positive, 6081 recovered (including 85 cases recovered today), 157deaths; Pulwama reported 4858 positive cases (including 18 case reported today) with 123 active positive cases, 4651 recovered (including 15 cases recovered today), 84 deaths; Kulgam has 2549 positive cases (including 03 case reported today) with 77 Active Positive, 2424 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today), 48 deaths; Shopian has 2282 positive cases (including 03 case reported today) with 88 Active Positive, 2158 recovered (including 09 cases recovered today) and 36 deaths; Anantnag district has 4431 positive cases (including 14 cases reported today) with 217 Active Positive, 4139 recovered (including 30 cases recovered today), 75 deaths;  Budgam has 6457 positive cases (including 29 cases reported today) with 302 Active Positive and 6059 recovered (including 25 cases recovered today), 96 deaths; Kupwara has 4810 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 452 Active Positive, 4280 recovered (including 13 cases recovered today), 78 deaths; Bandipora has 4235 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 174 Active Positive, 4013 recovered (including 10 cases recovered today), 48 deaths and Ganderbal has 3941 positive cases (including 20 cases reported today) with 329 active positive cases, 3576 recoveries (including 15 cases recovered today)and 36 deaths.

In Jammu, the officials said that Jammu district 19029 positive cases (including 94 cases reported today) with 594 active positive cases, 18155 recoveries (including 100 cases recovered today), 280 deaths; Rajouri has 3319 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) with 102 active positive cases, 3169 recovered (including 07 cases recovered today), 48 deaths; Ramban has 1761 positive cases (including 20 cases reported today) with 116 active positive, 1627 recoveries (including 0 cases recovered today) and 18 deaths; Kathua has 2610 positive cases (including 12 cases reported today) with 87 Active positive, 2490 recovered (including 08 cases recovered today), 33 deaths; Udhampur has 3009 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 240 active positive cases, 2734 recovered (including 28 cases recovered today) and 35 deaths; Samba has 2274 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 100 Active Positive, 2149 recoveries (including 0 cases recovered today) and 25 deaths; Doda has 2813 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 124 active positive cases, 2639 recoveries (including 02 cases recovered today), 50 deaths; Poonch has 2349 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 89 active positive, 2238 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today), 22 deaths; Reasi has 1372 positive cases with 83 active positive, 1281 recoveries  and 08 deaths while Kishtwar has 2184 positive cases (including 23  cases reported today) with 158 active positive cases and 2010 recoveries (including 12 cases recovered today) and 16 deaths.
